Mythborn

Mythborn: The Legacy-Touched Races

“To be Mythborn is to carry more than blood—it is to carry memory, power, and myth itself.”

Overview

The Mythborn are not a single race, but a classification of people descended from ancient, world-shaping beings—primordial dragons, celestial fae, titanic elementals, and more. They are the living echoes of origin races who shaped reality, bent time, or balanced the Veil between life and death.

Mythborn walk the mortal world, but their essence whispers of something older. Many are born to mortal parents but carry marks—unusual lifespans, mystical instincts, or strange connections to the land, stars, or spirit.

They are not gods. But they are not entirely mortal either.

Shared Traits

  • Extended Lifespan – Most Mythborn live far longer than mortals of their bloodline.
  • Innate Power – Magic, awareness, or strength often manifests early in life.
  • Mythic Memory – Some carry emotional echoes or dreams of lives not their own.
  • Spiritual Pull – Many feel drawn to specific callings, lands, or divine causes.

Some embrace their birthright. Others run from it. But all Mythborn bear the weight of ancient legacy.

Sidebar: Mythborn Lineage Origins

Each Mythborn race traces its lineage to a different primal force or origin being:

  • Drakari descend from dragons.
  • Shadowkin are the blood-heirs of the Myrran.
  • Stoneborn awaken the memory of the Stone Giants.
  • Veyari are the children of the celestial Vaelkin.
  • Feralthane were not born of one race—but through sacred merging of mortal and beast.
  • Verdantblood emerge through blessing or ritual, often unbidden, when the wild answers back.

Some lineages were forged by love. Others by magic, war, or divine will. All are living testaments to what once was—and what may return.
