The Druidic Prophecies
What was once whispered in leaves now echoes through flame.
🌿 The Breath of Foresight
Druids do not write their prophecies. They grow them.
Vines that twist in repeating patterns. Rings in sacred trees. Winds that blow the same phrase across seasons. Prophecies to the druids are not declarations — they are cycles. They are not about what must happen, but what has already begun.
Among these living omens, one prophecy has risen to the forefront:
The Prophecy of the Mirrored Flame.
✨ The Mirrored Flame
“From blood divided shall rise the twin fire.
One to burn the roots. One to call them home.
Marked by ash, born beneath broken moons.
They shall stand before the Withering. Or fall with it.”
The druids do not fully understand it. But they fear it.
They know that their connection to the Heartroot was severed when the sacred tree was taken. They know the sky is wrong. The tides are slower. And those born during eclipses carry strange fire.
Some whisper that two of these children have already come of age.
📖 The Scroll of Green Flame
Elaria, once a young priestess of the Heartroot, was the first to unearth the Mirrored Flame prophecy in its modern form. She found it not in a book, but etched into the bark of a living elder tree — its letters glowing green when touched by moonlight.
When she tried to bring it to the archdruids, they dismissed it. Said she had misread. That prophecy did not come to the young.
She spoke of it anyway.
A vampire heard.
Days later, she was abducted and sold into slavery.
⚡ The Cycle Continues
The druids have since scattered. The Whispering Vale has fallen. Their songs are fractured. But the prophecy persists in fragments:
- Carved in the walls of forgotten groves
- Breathed into the dreams of seers
- Painted in fire by children who do not know why
Some believe the prophecy is a warning. Others, a map.
A few believe it is a command.
It is said the Heartroot cannot regrow without the Mirrored Flame. But no one knows what price the flame will ask.
