🔥 The Ember Court
The Flame of Law and Judgment
“By decree, by trial, by flame.”
The Ember Court is Ironspire’s central governing body—responsible for crafting laws, enforcing justice, and maintaining civic order across the realm. Though the Sovereign reigns under the Ember Crown, it is the Court that rules through policy, judgment, and decree. Within its chambers, law is forged like steel: with pressure, precision, and flame.

Ember Law Fundamentals
- The Flame Sees All: Investigations may include magical testimony verification (e.g., truthfire rituals).
- Oaths Are Sacred: To break a sworn oath—especially one made in flame—is among the highest crimes.
- Public Good Prevails: Laws prioritize Ironspire’s survival and prosperity. Treason, resource hoarding, and interference with Ember infrastructure are capital offenses.
- Trial by Fire: Citizens may request an Iron Trial if they feel unjustly accused, though outcomes are often final.
